The Di Gaetano family demonstrates their zest for life and love of adventure as they have embraced food, family, and always wine over multiple generations. They have vineyards located at the base of Mt. Etna, and Trapani, where the soil is rich and loamy. On this land, the Di Gaetano’s have nurtured wines that bring together the majesty and beauty of Italy’s largest active volcano, under the Coste del Vulcano labels.

Color: Intense red with shades of violet.
Nose: Nuances of red fruits and aromatic spices, rich in blackberries, black cherries, blueberries, black pepper, licorice, and dark chocolate.
Palate: Great balance between tannins and acidity. Starting soft and captivating while finishing with an intense expressive profile.
Grape: 100% Nero d’Avola
Alcohol: 13.8%

Color: Bright ruby red with lively shades of violet.
Nose: Mineral, ripe and elegant notes that unfold intense and distinct hints of blackcurrants, prune jam, black cherries, licorice, pepper, and wilted violet.
Palate: A well balanced and harmonious. Rich warm and refined, of suave tannins of extraordinary lineage with a rewarding juicy finish.
Grape: Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio
